Indee Mat Club
The Indee Mat Club youth wrestling program is available to anyone in grades K-8th. Sign up for Youth Wrestling is typically in mid October each year at the Junior Senior High commons area. More information will be available at your elementary school as we get closer to sign up time.
Youth wrestlers in the Mat Club typically practice 1 to 3 times per week, depending on your age, at the junior senior high school wrestling room. Practices are instructed by junior high and high school coaches. Parents are encourage to help at practice if they are comfortable in working with kids. Our program welcomes volunteers who would like to improve the program.
Many area communities host youth tournaments on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from November through March.
The Mini Mustang, which is a youth tournament we host, is typically the weekend before Thanksgiving. Participation in these tournaments is encouraged but not required. Most tournaments require a small fee of $10 to $20.
