Strength and Agility – Summer Plan

Dear Parents and Athletes,

The Independence Athletic Department would like to invite you to attend the summer strength and agility sessions offered at Independence Junior Senior High School Weight room. The weight room will be open to any incoming 712 graders ( 20152016).

We encourage you to visit the Independence Mustang Strength and Conditioning website for schedules, attendance and weight benchmarks.

The general schedule for weight lifting times this summer are as follows:
Starting Wednesday, May 27th
7:00 am – 8:30 am, Grades 10, 11 & 12 on Monday, Wednesday & Friday
7:45 am – 9:00 am, Grades 7, 8 & 9 on Monday, Wednesday & Friday
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm Grades 7 – 12 on Monday, Wednesday& Friday

All boys and girls in Mustang activities are expected to participate in the workouts consisting of agility and strength training. Multiple coaches will be running the program.

Please help us make a commitment to excellence in our athletic programs by participating in our Strength and Agility program this summer!
